Herslev Bryghus is a farm brewery in the village of Toftegaard. It was established by Tore Jørgensen in 1998 when he decided to grow corn for creation of beers instead of his family suggestion to grow pigs. Upon its establishment, the Herslev Bryghus is committed to organic farming that produce outstanding quality of beers. The brewery’s main focus is growing high quality of organic grains. Beer ingredients come from locally grown products from the brewery’s field. Because the Herslev Bryghus depends on its organic farming, its brewed beers have varying taste and flavor depending on the weather, which gives its beers a more refreshing and refined quality.
