Good reports that a new service, Untappd, has just been launched that will serve as a social network for beer lovers. You can be friends with others and check in to breweries like on similar social networks such as Foursquare. Once you check in to a brewery, you select which beer you are drinking, and can then go and rate it for your friends and others to read.
The app also allows users to read other reviews of beers, see what beers are popular where you are, and make lists of which beers you liked or want to try, so you can easily remember. The full article can be found right here.
